Another Feingold Rave
Greyhair pointed me toward an entry in The Nation's blog because he knows I'm a Feingold fan. It's a good post and some great comments go along with it. I especially like the comments of someone named zero:

Feingold appears to be the only major figure in the national democrats attempting to represent the portion of the public that the national democrats would like to consider their "base".

And he is making some good stands, on important issues.
--------

however, unlike the party leadership, he appears willing to acknowledge to the general public that the population the party calls its "base" exists in reality, and has a viewpoint different than this rhetorical "centrism" embraced by the party leadership.

hats off to Feingold for taking a good stand on the impeachable, illegal domestic spying.

I agree completely. Enough of politicians pandering to the public. We deserve better than that. These people were sent to Washington to represent us. In order for a democracy to succeed, two things must happen: the citizens must stay informed and those who represent them must be honest in their reports back to their constituents, even when the truth is painful.

Feingold is the man. Take a look at his site and his voting record. If this man doesn't represent all that the Democratic party is supposed to be than no one does.
