Self-Centered
Have you ever seen such a hoopla made over a Presidential birthday? You'd think Bush was turning some astonishing age, like 100 or something. The narcissism of the guy just ooooozes out of every pore as he spent the last week "hinting" at his upcoming birthday. And of course the media swallow whole:
The Times went out all out, getting deep insight from such surprise sources as ... historian Doris Kearns Goodwin. "You don't see a drawn look," wisely noted Goodwin. "It's as if somehow he has psychologically not allowed the burdens to fully get to him. Maybe it's the exercise, maybe it's his sureness about his own decisions."
Doris. I got news for ya. It's called stupidity. When you are oblivious to anything going on around you due to the lack of any kind of intellectual curiousity, stress is not an issue.
