Sistani
I've read that Ayatollah Ali Mohammad al-Sistani, the highly influencial Shiite cleric in Iraq, is not a friend of Iran. But then, I ran across this story which says that he refuses to let go of his Iranian citizenship and accept Iraqi citizenship. What's up?

Maybe Sistani is pro-Iranian but in opposition to the current government? Odd that he wouldn't accept Iraqi citizenship as he's really the de facto leader of the country.
