Oversight
The Senate Judiciary committee has subpoened a whole slew of Justice Department officials. But at the bottom of the post on the subpoena's was this:
The Committee postponed the decision on whether to subpoena Karl Rove and Harriet Miers.
I hope this is merely strategic, building the case from the bottom up. If Leahy backs away from a White House confrontation on Rove, it shows how toothless Congress really is.
