That Ole' Tax Saw
Now that the polling shows the terraist boogie man isn't working quite so well, Bush has pulled out the biggest boogie-man of them all saying today that if Dems win, they'll raise taxes!!!!!!

OH NO!

If Democrats are smart they'll send someone out, say Bill Clinton, who will (in a very shrill and sarcastic voice) say,
"hell yes we'll raise taxes! Damned straight we'll make the rich fat cats pay their fair share and we'll give some of that money to working people in the form of tax cuts! And we'll balance the budget to get this country out of debt! You betcha!"
The best scenario is that this is said by party leaders and gets lots and lots of press. If Dems mealy mouth it (which is likely), they'll just continue to look rudderless and like they're afraid of their own positions.
