Jane Wants to Know?
Jane Arraf, a journalist for NBC writes in the NBC News blog about her experiences in Iraq. In today's edition, she gets a bit pissy with Bush apologists:
I'm more puzzled by comments that the violence isn't any worse than any American city. Really? In which American city do 60 bullet-riddled bodies turn up on a given day? In which city do the headless bodies of ordinary citizens turn up every single day? In which city would it not be news if neighborhood school children were blown up? In which neighborhood would you look the other way if gunmen came into restaurants and shot dead the customers?
She then goes on to call-out "Bob" who supposedly teaches in Baghdad.

Right.

Jane, let me help you out here. There's a small portion of the population .... oh .... around 30% or so who possess only lizard brains that operate on a minimal level of consciousness. No matter what the facts are, they instinctively run on a kill auto-pilot following our fearless leader to the promised land.
