A Record
I know that protesters turned out in big numbers elsewhere, and I know that Santa Rosa is a small town. But for a town of 150,000, to have 9,000 protestors show up was significant. And in a county that knows how to protest, this is a record.

I have a feeling that liberal, populists, politics in the U.S. is about to change ..... for the better.

I'm wondering if these demonstrations of solidarity will influence a resurgence of labor unions in this nation. 1953 saw the largest union membership in the U.S. and we also had a much better standard of living then. We had a middle class. Wouldn't it be ironic if the illegal immigrants were a major factor in reestablishing the middle class in this country?
