Fragged II
The administration has been trotting out their minions to sell the spin that the recent firings of U.S. prosecutors are not politically motivated.

Ah huh.

Like everything Bush, if you wait a minute you'll get the truth.
McClatchy gets two sources to confirm that it was Sen. Pete Domenici and Rep. Heather Wilson [both Republicans] of New Mexico who contacted the U.S. attorney in their state to get him to speed up charges against at least one Democrat before the November elections. The Post has been reporting that Domenici and Wilson are the only two New Mexico lawmakers that have not denied they were the ones that contacted the fired prosecutor, David Iglesias.
Better to say nothing than to lie. The House is subpoening folks to get to the bottom of this. Let's hope it goes somewhere.
