Hello
I've been busy with the holidays for the last couple of days. It was nice being out of the news loop for a bit as I was beginning to fall into a funk last week.

In looking over the news today, it doesn't look like much has changed ... Afghanistan is still a mess, nine American dead in Iraq, contractors being paid huge sums of money and not performing, and Bush fiddling. You know, a typical news day.

I'm quite sure I'll have more later. But for now, I'm still playing catch-up.

P.S. Goodbye John Bolton. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.
