On the videotape, which The Post was allowed to view, Barnes told church members: "I have struggled with homosexuality since I was a 5-year-old boy. ... I can't tell you the number of nights I have cried myself to sleep, begging God to take this away."

If that doesn't tell people that sexual preference is something you are born with, I don't know what would. Perhaps all of this 'scandal' will make 'chrisitans' think twice about the enormous prejudice toward homosexuals. It is much harder to hate a friend than some faceless, nameless 'other'.
