Josh Marshall has more on the deal between Pakistan, The Taliban, and as is now being reported, al Qaeda.

This is so shameful. What's happening in Afghanistan and Pakistan is nothing short of a "wait out those crazy Americans" strategy and return to business as usual. And Bush is responsible for it. How ironic that this deal is struck ..... and announced .... coincident with the anniversary of 911.

But hey! We've got em' on the run in Iraq! Right?
