There's a bit of buzz today over the "
coming out party" of Barack Obama.
Allow me to go on the record.
I'm not sure I even like the guy.
He seems awfully sanctimonious with a growing arrogance, often lecturing the "left" on the need to be "moderate", and instructing Democrats on their religious proclivities. I'll concede that it would be difficult
not to be getting arrogant with Obama being virtually crowned by Dems as the next coming of Kennedy. But he really needs some seasoning, and to be knocked down a few times, before he heads for the national stage. Finally, starting his political career in the Senate is not exactly a great start. All that sartorial comity crap can easily spoil any politician for national executive office, and Obama's political behavior while in the Senate has not been stellar.
My advice? Run for governor Barack. Run the state of Illinois for a couple of terms, then return to the national stage.
