Address
Bush has requested network primetime on Monday for a 911 speech. Here's a how the White House framed it:
"Snow said Bush's address would not be a political speech or a charge to Congress for action. Rather, he said, it would be reflective of what Sept. 11 has meant and 'how we move ahead as a country in making use of the lessons of Sept. 11.'"
Par ... don ... my french, but .... bullshit. If anyone thinks this is other than an attempt to maximize 911 politically for the benefit of Republicans is just naive. The networks should refuse this request and make the GOP pay for time.
