The Republican "moderates" folded like cheap tents. The Senate will not investigate the NSA illegalities, Bush gets away with murder, the media continues to snooze, and .... be very careful what you say.

Glenn Greenwalds warnings were spot on. I've got to agree with this blogger at Kos, it's time for Democrats to shut down Congress. Hell, they're not doing anything anyway.

Bush and the White House remain in control with Congress unwilling to challenge them. Any nonsense about a "Republican rebellion" should be dispelled for the time being.

On to the Dubai ports deal!
