Way Out on a Limb
If you haven't heard this trumpeted, old, warmed over story by the media yet, you will:
WASHINGTON -President Bush gave new details on Thursday about a purported 2002 terrorist plan to use shoe bombs to blow open the cockpit door of a commercial jetliner, take control of the plane and crash it into a building in Los Angeles.
Ok, I'm going waaaay out on a limb to make a prediction.

I predict, that within the next few days, more information will come about about this story the shows it to be nonsense. There will be some elements of the story conveniently left out, such as the perpetrator was phoning from a mental institution behind bars, or the guy turned himself in out of frustration at not getting media attention because the FBI/CIA/NSA/DHS/Military couldn't determine he was a bad guy and arrest him fast enough.

You watch.

BTW, Tom Oliphant on Al Franken's show today said that this was the second best "we stopped the terraists" story after the guy who was going to take fingernail clippers and destroy the Brooklyn Bridge. He also said that his sources tell him that the other uncovered "plots" go "downhill from there".
