Tweety had this to say on his show tonight, proclaiming he'd been "misunderstood":

Why would he start to talk like Moore? People misunderstood what I said last night. I think he’s getting some advice from people, he’s getting some lingo, some wordage that he hears working in the United States about this thing for war profiteers and he’s jumping on every opportunity. Is that what you are saying Joe?

To save you scrolling and to refresh your memory, this is what the Tweetster said yesterday:

"I mean he [bin Laden] sounds like an over the top Michael Moore here, if not a Michael Moore. You think that sells..."

Let's do a little thought experiment. Let's take Tweet at his word. Let's suppose for a moment that Osama sits in front of his computer/TV screens while hooked up to dialysis, no doubt with a combo nurse/transcriptionist, carefully recording the so-called shrill left-wing "Michael Moore" types. And let's further suspend reality and assume that bin Laden couldn't come up with such zippy, and ingenious, catch phrases as "Americans were terrorizing Iraqi women and children in their homes at night" and "torture chambers were turned over to — chambers were turned over to new management, U.S. troops". Nobody else likes progressive messaging, but let's assume that bin Laden loves it.

Why would Osama care? What would be the purpose in parroting the left-wing?

That's right. To help Bush.

And why would he want to help Bush?

That's right. Cause Bush is Osama's bin Laden's wet dream for jihad, a poster boy for everything wrong with the west, a perfect lightening rod to direct hate at the U.S. while engendering international tolerance for that wacko bin Laden.

And why would Tweety care what or how Osama says what he says?

Correctamundo. Cause it keeps those power cocktail party invitations intact and because he's been told that MSGOP is getting killed by Faux News. The media attention was sooo good yesterday that he threw gasoline on the fire tonight.

Such is the nature of much of the media these days folks. They'll whore for anyone, even Osama bin Laden.
