This pretty much sums up the DINO situation:
"Despite strong opposition to the war in Iraq and low approval ratings for President Bush, Connecticut voters approve of Sen. Joseph Lieberman 62% to 24% and say 64% to 24% that he should be reelected," according to a new Quinnipiac poll.

Lieberman would beat former Gov. Lowell Weicker (I), 65% to 21%, getting 67% of the Democratic vote, 72% of the Republican vote and 60% of the independent vote. Only 27% of voters want Weicker to run.
It would seem that the unhappiness by many Democrats about Joe Lieberman might be better directed at the good voters of Connecticut. He appears to be well-representing the wishes of his state.

Is this an example of rich liberals who want it both ways?
