Chuck Hagel
For any of you interested, Charlie Pierce has written a nice piece in Esquire about Chuck Hagel. There's no breaking news in it, but rather a backgrounder that offers some insight into the man. It gave me a much clearer understanding of exactly why Hagel is so vocally independent, but caves when push comes to shove.
