War With Iran
While I'm fairly certain we've had special ops in Iran for some time, it has been covert thus far. It now appears that the U.S. is getting more provocative:
US forces have stormed an Iranian consulate in the northern Iraqi town of Irbil and seized six members of staff.
Aside from the dangers of violating the sensibilities of the Kurds who have thus far been sympathetic to the U.S., my tinfoil hat tells me that the plan to attack Iran is right on schedule. Increase carrier groups in the gulf, increased troops in Iraq, more aggressive actions and rhetoric against Iran, it all fits together.

Gawd I hope I'm wrong.
