He's Back ....
After a fashion anyway.

A busy week indeed.

Anyway, just wanted to comment on the pearl clutchers who are claiming that a Lieberman loss will be a "blow" to bipartisanship. What a bunch of crap. As was said elsewhere, bipartisanship occurs when there's compromise. It's capitulation when there's no compromise.

Can anyone remember the last time the Rethugs in the White House or in Congress actually demanded other than capitulation?

Indeed, Democrats should have had it up to here by now. Hopefully Connecticut voters will be the first to express it by throwing Joementum under the bus.

It's time.

Stand for something or fall for anything. The notion that the "left wing" of the Democratic party is in some way as radical as the sixties is nonsense, making that particular lesson "inoperable". On to kicking some right wingnut butt, the real extremists, and returning to some level of civil moral political leadership.
