Chatterers
Eric Alterman has a great column up today outlining (yet again) why our punditocracy is so inbred and stupid.

The short version is that all the comparisons the pearl clutchers (Broder, Roberts, Klein et. al) are making between Ned Lamont and 1972 are just plain stupid. These folks have outlived their usefulness and have simply become inside-the-beltway gossips.

Too bad. I used to have some respect for some of these folks. Now I just think they need to retire.
